Alice loves to experiment and her works explore the boundaries between the Nature and her imagination; East and West. She focuses on colors,  abstract forms, textures and palette knife energy.\nBorn in Taiwan, my love for art started with Chinese brush  painting and Western watercolor painting in school. I now paint a wide variety of subjects in my Moose Island studio. Through my work, I explore the boundaries between the abstract and the real, East and West, with elements of traditional Chinese brush painting and European impressionism. \nMy professional art career started when I sold my first painting in the annual “Paint Eastport Day” event at the Eastport Arts Center, Maine in 2009. Since 2013, I’ve been an active member of the Eastport Gallery and the Eastport Arts Center. Through the vibrant Eastport art community, I have been very fortunate to have learned from and collaborated with dozens of inspiring and world-renowned artists. Now, I'd like to adventure a bit further from home and develop a larger connection with the art world.\n"}]}
